Before the evaluation, you'll provide case history on your child's developmental and communication background. The 90-minute evaluation is at your home, where Kendra builds rapport while assessing through play-based, child-led, neuro-affirming approaches. Neurodiversity-affirming doesn't mean abandoning standardized assessment or eligibility criteria—it means broadening what we measure, how we interpret, and how we present findings so the report reflects your whole child!

Speech therapy sessions take place in your home or a community setting your child is comfortable in. Kendra uses your child's own interests and strengths to build motivating, play-based activities—because children learn best through play and when they feel genuinely supported. Every session meets your child where they are, turning things they already love into meaningful opportunities for communication and connection. 

For just $5 more, add feeding support to your child's session. Kendra uses the SOS Approach to Feeding to help your child expand their food repertoire—supporting sensory preferences and oral-motor skill development along the way. Because it blends seamlessly into play, feeding becomes another natural opportunity for connection and communication rather than a separate, stressful task.

While training and education are naturally embedded into your child's sessions, a separate Caregiver Training & Education session puts the focus on YOU. During this 30-minute virtual meeting, you'll focus on what you need to support and advocate for your child's development. Family involvement is one of the biggest factors in a child's success in therapy, and Kendra will help you every step of the way, offering support where you need it most.

Because services are provided in your home or a community location, a mileage charge applies to in-person visits, in addition to the session or evaluation fee. The first 15 miles each way are free (a courtesy radius from the practice's base); beyond that, mileage is billed at $0.76/mile for the round-trip distance that exceeds it—based on the current IRS standard rate. Teletherapy visits have no mileage charge. Your Good Faith Estimate includes an estimated per-visit amount.
